Zips.
We can fit brass or plastic zips. We will replace “like for like” unless you the customer requests otherwise.
Brass zips, we stock and install only YKK BDM brass zips
Plastic zips, we stock YKK Aquaseal zips or Ti Zips.Neck and Wrist ring systems.
We stock Si Tech and Santi ring systems. Other brands may be installed at the customer’s request.
Ring systems are often pre-installed in “off the shelf” drysuits. These systems do not suit everybody and can be removed if desired. Please contact us if you would like to discuss your options.Seals.
We replace Latex, Neoprene and Silicone seals. We can swap one type for another if your current seal does not suit you.
DUI zip seals.
We can replace the latex seal when the current seals have deteriorated.
Boots and socks.
We can replace old, worn or leaking boots and socks, or replace incorrect sizes with correct sizes or swap one for the other.
In general, boot leaks can not be sealed with any longevity once a leak occurs. The boots will need to be replaced, whereas socks have the advantage of being able to have a leak located and sealed.P-Valves.
We stock and install Light Monkey “Tinkle” balanced P-valves.We can also order and install Halcyon and SiTech P-Valves if you prefer. If you would prefer to supply your own style/brand of P-valve we can also install these.
She-P and feminine urination management solutions.
We stock She-P’s to pair with P-Valves.
Sending your drysuit to us.
When packaging the suit; put it in a box for protection rather than a bag. Do not compress the suit to much. If the dry zip is bent incorrectly during transit it may become damaged. It is better to spend a few extra dollars on a larger package than risk damaging the zip. Allow approximately 2 weeks turn around from arrival at our door to being ready for dispatch back to you. Suits are dispatched once your invoice has been paid.Sizing.
Australian Drysuit Repairs makes every effort to replace and install the correct size component. We do this by comparison to the original component being replaced, consultation with the customer or their representative and using sizing guides supplied by the components manufacture.Visiting, dropping off and picking up from the workshop.
